Expanded EJB3 Course Now Available

Capstone has expanded and improved its EJB3 offerings, with a new Course 163 as a full-week alternative to the 3-day Course 162. Course 163 adds the following topics:

• Transactions
• Persistence contexts
• Exception handling
• Security
• Interceptors
• Timers

With this release, we're also taking a new direction toward more support for commercial application servers such as JBoss and WebSphere. We are releasing, in parallel, Course 163-WL, "EJB for the WebLogic Server," which is completely reworked for WebLogic, with lab exercises, coursebook/discussion, and specific lab instructions all dedicated to the 10.3 release of that platform.

We'll be rolling out server-specific variants of many of our Java EE courses in the near future, and hope to make it easier for our training-company clients to say, "Yes!" when their customers are looking for training on a specific tool.
