October 6, 2009Web Services Course Updated to JAX-WS 2.1We're pleased to release a significant update to our Course 561, "Developing Java Web Services," following the evolution of JAXB and JAX-WS to their 2.1 versions. Course 561 is an important product for many of our training-company clients, and we mean to keep it right on the cutting edge. The updated course works seamlessly with the latest Java EE 5 SDK: Update 7, which includes GlassFish 2.1 as the application server. This also helps to align Course 561 with the recent release of Course 562, "Securing Java Web Services," providing a smooth path from JAX-WS basics to advanced techniques for implementing service security with Metro (for WS-Security) and OpenSSO (for SAML) projects. Please note that a variant of this course is available for the WebLogic server (Course 561-WL), with a JBoss variant (Course 561-JB) coming soon. |
