Java SE API Documentation, Version 7

If the course you are setting up requires JDK 7, follow these instructions to set it up on the student and instructor machines. If you have questions, please contact your courseware vendor.

The Java SE API documentation is a free download from Sun Microsystems. Navigate to:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/documentation/java-se-7-doc-download-435117.html

Accept the license agreement as prompted, and download the bundle of API documentation.

Unzip this file to c:\Java7. This will create a new tree of files rooted at c:\Java7\docs.

Create a desktop shortcut to the path shown below:

c:\Java7\docs\api\index.html
