Java SE API Documentation, Version 8

If the course you are setting up requires JDK 8, follow these instructions to set it up on the student and instructor machines. If you have questions, please contact your courseware vendor.

The Java SE API documentation is available as part of a free download from Oracle®. Navigate to:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/documentation/jdk8-doc-downloads-2133158.html

Accept the license agreement as prompted, and download the bundle of API documentation under Java SE Development Kit 8unn Documentation.

Unzip this file to c:\Java8. This will create a new tree of files rooted at c:\Java8\docs.

Create a desktop shortcut to the path shown below:

c:\Java8\docs\api\index.html
